BMT Hi-Q Sigma's Managing Consultant, Claire Purser is presenting at the Earned Value International Advisory Panel in Lisbon 15th - 16th November 2011. This year's panel debate centres around whether there should be an ISO standard for Earned Value Management as a Project Control Technique.
At the conference BMT Hi-Q Sigma are presenting on the project control measurement tool COMPASS, which developed as part of the Earned Value Management Specific Interest Group is a simple project control measurement technique that allows project managers to assess their current 'as is' state of their projects and where they want 'to be' showing the steps to measurable improvement. BMT Hi-Q Sigma used this tool in an 18 month change programme applied across portfolio team of over 60 projects and was central to shaping the improvement of the change programme. The practical application of the COMPASS is being presented at EVAIP.
