Appointment of Dean Taylor

BMT Hi-Q Sigma, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, the leading international maritime design, engineering and risk management consultancy, is pleased to confirm the appointment of Dean Taylor as Director of Business Development.
Dean joins BMT Hi-Q Sigma from VEGA Consulting Services Ltd, where he held the positions of Head of Sales Operations and Defence Account Director. Prior to this, Dean held senior consulting positions with Admiral Management Services and Logica following his early career in the MoD.
Dean has a strong background in delivery and sales in public sector consultancy and was part of the senior management team that successfully grew VEGA’s consultancy business from 50 to 200 staff.
Dean has 25 years experience of the Defence industry and has worked on major Defence Procurement Programmes including the Type 23 Frigate and the Defence Information Infrastructure. He has also consulted on various non Defence Programmes including roles within the European Space Agency and the NHS.
Dean’s remit is to grow BMT Hi-Q Sigma’s current business within the Maritime, Land and Special Projects areas and develop new business in C4ISTAR and non Defence markets, including the Energy and Transport sectors.
